Underwater life takes centre stage in Sir David’s epic sequel.
Sir David Attenborough’s enthusiasm and passion for the natural world remains as infectious as ever as he profiles extraordinary sealife in this sublime sequel to The Blue Planet, airing 16 years after the original.
In the opener, an epic sequence of a giant trevally leaping out of the ocean to grab a tern will surely rival last year’s famous Planet Earth II footage of snakes chasing an iguana.
Also, look out for a kobudai wrasse which changes sex and a tough walrus mum trying to find a place on the ice.
But our highlight is the tusk fish who makes a daily trip to collect clams and carry them to his favourite piece of coral to bash them open!
