Bob’s Christening stress intensifies when Ashley is called away suddenly and there’s no one to conduct the service. The Bishop steps in, but another crisis emerges when Dawn’s new headstone arrives and has a picture of Kelly on it instead of Dawn! A mortified Bob has to cough up to get it changed and is forced to dip into the Christening money. Scarlett thinks she’s making progress with Daz when he invites her over to teach her how to use her MP3 player. Carrie reminds Scarlett that they’d arranged to go out for a meal in the Woolpack and, desperate not to miss out on seeing Daz, she asks Carrie if she can invite him along. Daz is reluctant, but his mood changes when he realises Louise will be coming along and an upset Scarlett realises that she has some competition! Laurel and Ashley keep vigil at Hilary’s bedside and they’re told that she’s in a critical condition. Laurel’s dad Doug is thankfully making progress but she decides to keep him in the dark about Hilary’s coma. Also, Kelly gets nervous about her upcoming trial; and Rosemary is confident her plot against the Kings is working.
