Bradley's relationship with Preeti is moving slowly as he can’t help comparing his dates with the shy beautician to his fiery relationship with Stacey. Preeti pays Bradley a visit but they’re interrupted by Stacey, who can’t resist making a few digs and upsetting Preeti, who runs out of the house. Bradley feels bad for Preeti and sends her a text, asking her to come back. Bradley decides to move the relationship on and kisses Preeti passionately. Billy and Honey go to see May about the progress of Honey’s pregnancy and Billy is confused when May starts talking about a prenatal test for conditions like Down’s Syndrome. Billy wants to know why Honey didn’t tell him about it earlier, but Honey is dismissive. She insists that she doesn’t need a test as she’s determined to have the baby whether it’s Down’s or not. Peggy is chuffed that she finally has her licence through for extended opening hours and pins up the notice in the Vic. Ian starts his usual bickering with Phil when he spots the notice and he’s left humiliated yet again. A spiteful Ian makes a call to his mate at the council to get back at the Mitchells.
