Cain makes a surprise confession
Aaron agrees to do a job with Eli and they break into Holdgate Farm to steal cast iron fireplaces for scrap metal. Cain catches them in the act and can't believe how stupid they have been as the police have been alerted and are on their way. Cain tells Aaron and Eli to scarper and when the police arrive Cain is arrested and taken in for questioning, but after a private chat with the station inspector, Cain is mysteriously set free. Debbie is stunned that Cain has been let off and demands to know what's going on. Debbie gets tearful and tells her father that she's afraid that one day she'll wake up and find him gone. Cain confesses that he was let off because he's a police informant. Debbie can't believe that Cain is going against everything the Dingle family believe in. Leyla has her first day at Home Farm and she's confused when Nathan finds out about her mum's care home fees and makes a large donation. Nathan hints that he'll help her financially if she sabotages David's council campaign and she realises he's been trying to nobble her all along. Leyla strips off the suit Nathan bought for her and walks out of Home Farm in her undies!
