Can Jonny prove himself to Bonnie?
Returning to work all loved up after their mini-break with Emma, Bonnie suggests to Jonny they should move in together. Jonny seems keen but every time Bonnie tries talking to him, he's busy with Jac treating Kayleigh, a One Direction fan with heart problems. As Jac and Jonny work closely to try and diagnose Kayleigh, Bonnie continues to feel sidelined, especially as Jonny fails to back her up when Jac criticises her work.
Then, when Bonnie suggests Kayleigh has a blood infection, caused by a One Direction tattoo on her back, Jac's furious Bonnie didn't tell her sooner and wants her fired! When Jonny takes Jac's side once more, Bonnie decides she's had enough. Jonny tries to assure Bonnie it's her he loves but Bonnie says those are just words so, in a panic, Jonny gets down on one knee and asks her to marry him. Could there be wedding bells very soon?
It's the day of Jess's hernia op and Ric assures his daughter she's safe at Holby, away from abusive husband David. But David's tracked her down and, when Ric sees Jess speed off in a car with him, he follows in hot pursuit. Catching up with them, Ric punches David to the ground. When Jess tries to drive off in Ric’s car, David stumbles into her path and is hit. With Jess deteriorating and David lying in the road, will Ric stop to help him?
Also, with Holby under scrutiny following the withdrawal of the Tressler fund, Guy is feeling the pressure. Zosia’s concerns over a critical case fall on deaf ears as Guy becomes increasingly distracted and Zosia is forced to take matters into her own hands, with unexpected results.
