With plans for the School Social in full swing, Rebecca is keen to get involved. However, realising he has feelings for Rebecca, Michael attempts to cut her out of the plans and tells her he doesn't need her help. Chris can see that Summer still has feelings for Andrew and encourages her to do something about it. Natasha isn't happy when she sees Andrew and Summer making plans and tries to muscle in. A conversation with Lucas gives Natasha the idea to play hard to get in the hope it will make Andrew want her. Andrew and Summer go to a club to meet a club promoter to help with the School Social. Chris helps Summer get ready and tells her to be honest with Andrew about how she feels. In the club, the promoter asks Summer to dance, but knowing she doesn't want to Andrew tells him they are together, and kisses Summer to prove it. Summer is thrilled but outside the club, Andrew apologises and asks her to pretend to be his girlfriend to help him secure a deal with the promoter. Summer is upset and Andrew has no idea how she feels. Michael can't stop thinking about Rebecca and decides to include her in the plans for the Social.
