Casey once again fails to hand in a school assignment, so Romeo offers to help him. After going surfing at Wilson's Beach, Romeo and Casey go to the Braxton house to study. And thanks to the arrival of Heath and Casey's mother, Romeo gets an insight into Casey's home life. Heath taunts Casey and Romeo is shocked when Casey explodes at his brother. Elijah is struggling to remain true to his beliefs in light of Grace's offer to make the marriage a "real" one. Knowing the truth behind the marriage, Miles tries to talk it over with Elijah. But Grace has also been speaking to Morag about what's really going on in the relationship, so things are becoming more complicated. In the middle of this tangled web, Elijah decides he's unwilling to give in to Grace's desire. Leah is nervous about lunch with Brax as it will be her first date since Elijah. And Charlie isn't helping much, by voicing her concerns about the type of man Brax is. As the date progresses, Leah gets the impression that Brax is more interested in Leah as a source of business advice rather than as a romantic interest. An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
