Sam arrives late for theatre, and Connie calls a senior staff meeting to discuss whether he can continue to work in his condition. When Sam misplaces a patient's notes, he reluctantly agrees to move to Keller – but Chrissie later finds the notes hidden in Stuart's locker. Realising that Stuart has stitched Sam up, an angry Chrissie tells him it's over prompting Stuart to hit the bottle. Struggling to deal with his brother Harry's deteriorating condition, Joseph resigns himself to the fact that nothing can be done. Faye tries to help Joseph by giving him information about a treatment abroad, but he dismisses her. Later, Faye is called into the police station over the suspicious deaths of her two husbands.
