Struggling mum Moira's state of mind spirals downwards as Isaac is christened
It's Isaac's christening day and his mum Moira is in tears, but not for the right reasons. On her uppers she can't cope with her newborn, who's crying buckets, let alone the social hoo-ha of the event. The wellwishers in church soon clock that Moira's not doing too well and start to worry when the mum later vanishes.
Later, despite Moira's disappearing act, her son Adam and his wife have an important adoption meeting to attend. The couple paints on a brave face pretending all is A-OK until distraught Moira bursts in, announcing that Adam and Victoria should take her child…
