Curtis confronts Tony!
Curtis breaks down the door of Alice's house to get to the barely conscious nurse following the brutal attack carried out by Kat, the girlfriend of evil gangster Tony. Covered in horrific cuts, bruises and burn marks - made by a pair of straightening irons - she's rushed to Casualty where her friends and co-workers work hard to stabilise her. Jessica admits to Zoe that Adam is Harry's father and they are an item. However, she wonders if Adam's ready for this commitment when he doesn't show up to register Harry's birth. She's disappointed in him until she discovers he was busy treating Alice. Curtis is reluctant to speak to the police but Alice insists. They're left disappointed when DI Moreland says Tony can't be linked to her attack unless they find Kat and she confesses. Frustrated and furious, Curtis takes his anger out on Jay. Tess advises him not to vent his wrath by doing something he'll regret. Curtis confronts Tony at his flat but just as they're about to get into a fight he manages to turn the other cheek and walk away. Back at the hospital, Alice thinks the worst is over, but Curtis privately believes Tony has more trauma planned for them. Adam announces to the team he's Harry's father. Everyone is shocked but supportive. Zoe asks Jordan to join her for a drink but he gives her a research paper to read instead!
