Lucy has a big task ahead of her as she goes through the Butcher's Joints' accounts. After double-checking the figures, Lucy realises that Danny has been embezzling money. Confronting Danny about it, Lucy is taken aback when a quick-thinking Danny makes her an offer. When Danny tries to convince Lucy to come in on the scam with him, she's unsure, until he persuades her with a kiss.
Kat is convinced that she's just seen Stacey, and she runs into the hair salon where she thought she spotted her. When Kat goes to look for her, however, Stacey is nowhere to be seen. After meeting Alfie at the hotel, their reunion is a little flat, as Kat is distracted. Back in the Square, Kat goes against Alfie's advice to secretly tell Max.
Nancy agrees with Whitney that Johnny needs to find himself a date and they sign him up to an online dating site. Johnny isn't convinced, but agrees to go along with it. Meanwhile, Tamwar's surprised when he takes a peek at Shabnam's laptop to discover she's also been trying to find love online.
Also, Carol convinces Max to be happy for her and David after their engagement; Alfie gets a mysterious text.
