David blows his last chance with Tina
David is rattled when he learns that Gary has confessed, but he puts his worries aside when Tina drops round with a card for Ted and tells David that she'll meet him for a drink later. Gary, however, is determined not to let things drop and he visits Audrey to tell her his side of the story. Audrey knows David only too well and she is prepared to believe Gary. David is taken aback when Audrey confronts him in front of the family. Tony is worried when he discovers that Maria was in hospital after a false alarm with the baby and he rushes over to her house to check on her now that she's back home. Maria is taken aback when Tony promises to be there for her 24/7 until the baby is born. Fiz is in shock when John's probation officer tells her that John is suffering from clinical depression. Deeply concerned about John and with no one to turn to Fiz pours her heart out to a sympathetic Hayley. Also, Tony tells Luke the factory is in dire financial trouble; Pam and Bill enjoy lunch at the builder's yard; Molly and Kevin arrange to go running together. *Second episode, 8.30pm* David insists to his family and the police that he had nothing to do with the burglary and does a pretty good job of convincing them, although Audrey is still suspicious. Tina comes round and is stunned to hear Audrey's accusation and under her harsh interrogation David trips up and it's clear to everyone that he did indeed set up Gary. David is gutted when Tina storms out of the house in disgust and he worries that he's lost her for ever. Fiz is desperate to make John feel better and she borrows some books from Ken and parcels them up to cheer him up. Sally gets hold of the parcel and maliciously tears out the last pages before wrapping the parcel up again. Fiz doesn't find out until the parcel has been posted and, worried that it might tip John over the edge, she furiously launches herself at Sally! Norris gets home from the shop and is furious to find Emily and Rita entertaining Ramsey over tea and cake. Norris makes it very clear that he doesn't want Ramsey in the house and an uncomfortable Ramsey is forced to leave. Also, Maria agrees to let Tony move in until the birth; Kevin enjoys his training session with Molly.
