Dex is infatuated with Detective Graves
Dex's infatuation with Detective Graves is growing. He bugs Sid and Marilyn to put in a good word for him but they remind him there's a murder investigation under way. Dex sends Graves a bunch of flowers asking her out. She's mortified when they arrive in front of her boss. But Robertson encourages her to accept, and make it a double date. April is anxious to get John to speak for the Water Bottle Ban at the Council meeting. But since his break-up, John's less than enthusiastic. To get him to the meeting, Xavier tells him Gina will be there. John perks up, but Xavier can't convince Gina to go. When John realises she's not showing, he leaves. Gina later tells John not to let their squabbles get in the way of something important. John insists his decision not to back the scheme was to minimise stress for himself, but Gina can see through it. Robertson continues interviewing everyone about Penn's disappearance. He asks Marilyn for a tarot reading. She agrees, but fears she'll tell Robertson something that might incriminate her friends. She's particularly worried about telling Robertson her dream where Alf killed Penn. During the reading, Robertson pressures Marilyn into spilling about the dream. Has Marilyn incriminated Alf?
