Dr Rangan Chatterjee devotes more time to his patients this week

'If we didn't have doc, can you imagine?' asks stunned mum Rebecca of her 11-year-old son Kiki.

The doc in question is Dr Rangan Chatterjee, who has just diagnosed a tricky condition in Kiki and has totally transformed the boy's health and his future.

We think part of Dr Chatterjee's magic is not just that he devotes so much time to his patients and has huge medical knowledge at his disposal, but that he treats each patient like they are his own child, mum, dad or grandma.

His dedication and determination in each case is remarkable – and also why he's so often in tears at the end of the programme, too.
