After her bitter break-up with boyfriend Daniel Granger on Doctors, surgery practice manager Becky Clarke has SHOCK news for everyone...

Things are rather awkward between Daniel Granger (played by Matthew Chambers) and Becky Clarke (Ali Bastian) since their break-up on Doctors (1:45pm on BBC One, see our TV Guide for full listings).

But if Daniel is expecting to find Becky crying in the corner of the surgery, he's in for a rude awakening. Becky has had enough of being messed around by Daniel and isn't shy about letting people know!

Becky arrives at work with a determined look on her face. Surgery receptionist Valerie Pitman (Sarah Moyle) is surprised when Becky tells Valerie to cancel all her meetings, divert her phone to voicemail and arrange an urgent meeting with surgery partners Daniel and his soon-to-be ex-wife, Zara Carmichael (Elisabeth Dermot Walsh).

What's going on?

Both Daniel and Zara are in for a BIG surprise in the meeting, when Becky Clarke announces some SHOCK news!

Meanwhile, Jimmi Clay (Adrian Lewis Morgan) returns to work after the attack outside the Icon.

Everyone is startled by the sight of Jimmi's bruised face, since he was badly beaten during the attack. Should he be back at work so soon?

Jimmi insists he is fine. But is he?

Elsewhere, two shifty window cleaners, Terry Scratley (Joe Douglass) and Farren Rowbottom (Harry O'Reilly) approach Al Haskey (Ian Midlane) to see if he wants to pay a good price for a valuable secondhand comic.

But little does Al know, but Terry and Farren have stolen the comic from a customer Vernon Holliday (Simon Mattacks), who has drunk himself unconscious.

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!"
