Doctors spoilers: Valentine's Day heartbreak for Daniel Granger and Zara Carmichael
On Valentine's Day, Zara and Daniel try to settle their differences for the sake of their son, Joe. But are the couple at breaking point again?
It's Valentine's Day. But love is definitely not in the air for Daniel Granger and Zara Carmichael!
Just when the couple appeared to have moved on from Zara's one-night stand with work colleague Sid Vere at Christmas, the family has been plunged back into turmoil since their young son Joe was suspended from school for bullying and punching another child.
Determined to try and put their differences aside for the sake of Joe, Daniel and Zara are touched when they find Valentine's Day cards to them from the other, made by Joe.
Unfortunately, when Zara destroys a family photo, the couple's truce is short-lived...
Elsewhere in Letherbridge, it looks like Al Haskey is having more luck as he goes on his first date with Catrin Ballard, fellow fan of Live Action Role Playing.
Al and Catrin seem like a perfect match when they both mock the cheesy side of Valentine's Day and the terrible 'romantic' menu at the Icon bar. But will Al ruin the moment when he blurts out how he doesn't normally like most people to start with? Whoops!
Meanwhile, Ayesha Lee and Sid Vere get to see a different side of new surgery practice manager Becky Clarke, when the trio team up for a night out in Letherbridge.
It's not long before Becky is revealing all about her boyfriend Tam, getting drunk and dancing wildly. And all on a school night!
Doctors continues weekdays at 1:45pm on BBC One

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!"
