Donna doesn't blame Steph
At the police station, Steph is charged with driving in a dangerous manner as well as driving under the influence of alcohol and warned that as Ringo died, she is likely to receive a custodial sentence. When Susan and Karl bump into Lyn, Susan knows there is something they are not telling her. Karl suggests that they keep their families separate for now, but Susan demands to know what's going on. Toadie can't get Steph to talk so Sonya sees if she can get through to her but Steph has gone. At the Kennedys, Donna is looking at the notes Ringo left her for his anniversary surprise when there is a knock at her door. Donna tells Steph it was an accident and when Steph confesses that she had been drinking the night before, Donna walks over to her and hugs her. Steph shocks Lyn and Toadie when she tells them she doesn't want to fight the charges and knows it means she might go to jail. When Kate finally plucks up the courage to see Donna, she tells her that Ringo saved her life by pushing her out of the way of the bike. Donna flips out and tells Kate it's her fault that Ringo is dead. Click here to watch whatsontv.co.uk's weekly soaps video preview, the Soap Scoop
