EastEnders spoilers: Bernadette Taylor gets worrying news
Bernadette Taylor fears for her future after an upset over the surrogacy plan. Meanwhile, Kheerat Panesar hopes to get lucky with a flirty Sharon Mitchell!
Bernadette Taylor makes a shock discovery in Thursday’s episode of EastEnders (7.40pm, see our TV Guide for full listings).
Bernadette Taylor gets herself ready to go for a doctors appointment with Rainie Highway. After Bernie’s offer to be Rainie’s surrogate she needs to be checked over.
Bernie thinks that the surrogacy will be the answer to her family’s money woes, as Rainie and husband Stuart Highway are willing to pay big money to have a baby.
At the clinic, Bernie is taken aback when the doctor says it’s not all good news. She learns that she has some health factors that could cause complications with any potential pregnancy.
An upset Rainie knows that she has to make the right choice and is left feeling that Bernie shouldn’t be their surrogate. Alarmed at the thought of losing out on the money, Bernie desperately tries to convince Rainie that it will be okay.
Despite listening to Bernie’s pleas, Rainie is left torn, reminding Bernie that they only have one shot at this. What will her decision be?
Sharon rescues her date with Kheerat
Sharon Beale’s luck seems to be in when Kheerat Panesar flirtily asks her out for a drink. The pair chat over a bottle of wine and discuss their romantic pasts.
But despite a good start, things soon take an awkward turn when Kheerat puts his foot in it, offending Sharon. She goes cold on him and tells him that it’s time for her to go.
Frustrated that he messed things up, Kheerat heads over to the call centre. All alone in the office, he is surprised to hear a noise in the doorway. It’s Sharon, who clearly has had a change of heart and is up for some sexy fun. As long as Kheerat doesn’t make another faux pas, that is…!
EastEnders continues on BBC1 on Friday 8.10 pm.
