EastEnders spoilers: Kat and Martin take desperate measures to save Jean
Kat and Martin get involved in something dodgy in a bid to get Jean home, Evie manipulates Tiff into trusting her, and Mel plots to get money for Hunter.
Kat is worried about how anxious Stacey is over Jean and she’s determined to get hold of Jean’s test results. After taking Martin to the surgery with her, she tries to pass herself off as Jean but her plan backfires. After being turfed out, the pair return home, but Martin reveals he managed to take a look at the file and has written the notes down. Not knowing what the results mean, Martin asks Sonia for her medical opinion. What will Sonia reveal?
Whitney is concerned about Tiff and she tries to get her to open up about what’s going on. Tiff covers and Whitney’s not fooled, realising she’s hiding the truth. With trouble at home, Tiff turns to Evie, who cleverly uses the situation to convince Tiffany that her family don’t care about her. A despondent Tiff meets up with Evie, who takes her to a party. Meanwhile, Keegan’s expecting to be in big trouble with his mum over what happened. He’s surprised when Karen is supportive. When Karen gives him some home truths Keegan realises that she’s right and resolves to finally get some help with his issues.
Mel opens a letter about Hunter’s plea hearing and her heart sinks about the costs. She sets her sights on Walford East, determined to get hold of some cash fast. With Iqra and Habiba obviously struggling to run the restaurant, Mel tries to put doubts in Kathy’s minds about whether the girls can cope. Will Kathy fall for Mel’s plan?
Also, Stuart tries to help Bex with her studies but it backfires.
