EastEnders spoilers: Stacey confronts Jean about her secret
Jean is rattled when Stacey finds out the truth about her health worries, Jay makes things worse with Ruby, Stuart opens up to Rainie about his past.
Stacey is stunned when Kat reveals that Jean may have cancer. Realising that Jean’s in the Vic, Stacey storms round there to find out what’s going on.
Insisting that Jean go for tests straight away, Stacey is on the back foot when Jean crumples and can’t deal with it. Kat has an idea of how to help out Jean and Stacey is touched by Kat’s thoughtfulness.
When Honey later sees Jean sitting on her own, she’s worried about her. It’s not long before Shirley also knows the truth and she asks Jean why she didn’t tell her. A defensive Jean snaps at Shirley, who is left feeling frustrated. When Jean hears Stacey and Kat talking about her she packs a bag and heads for the station…
Jay realises that he’s got the wrong end of the stick about Ruby. He tries to make things up to her but things soon get out of hand and he upsets her. Is it all over for the lovebirds?
Rainie sees Stuart in the Vic and can’t wait to get stuck into him about what she heard him saying at the NA meeting. Stuart is furious that she’s brought it up in front of Dot and he corners her in the car lot, demanding answers.
When Stuart realises that Rainie was at the NA meeting, he opens up to her about his past, begging her not to tell Dot. What has he been hiding?
Also, Mitch realises that Bailey’s hidden a letter about an upcoming school trip and, guilty, promises her that he’ll find the money for it somehow. Can Patrick help?
