EastEnders spoilers: Will Mick Carter see justice done in court?
Mick Carter heads to court, Dotty Cotton encourages Sonia Fowler to give her dad a chance and Sharon Fowler gives Zack Hudson a warning.
Mick Carter steels himself to go to court in Friday’s episode of EastEnders (8.35pm, see our TV Guide for full listings).
It’s the day that Mick Carter has been dreading ever since he finally went to the police about the sexual abuse he suffered at the hands of carer Katy Lewis when he was young.
Although he's relieved that Katy is up in court of the charges, the weight of the secret he held for so long being public, has been a difficult one for him to get his head round.
Katy finally faces her crimes
The Carter family get dressed in some sombre outfits to attend the hearing and head to the court to hear the verdict.
Will Mick read out his victim impact statement and will Katy get the sentence she deserves?
Sonia Fowler is still in shock over her dad Terry ‘Rocky’ Cant’s unexpected appearance. Although he does appear to be who he says he is, she struggles to be convinced.
Not only that, Rocky really is larger than life and has already done a good turn at spinning yarns and winning over the locals.
Sonia spent so long looking for her real dad that she had come to believe that she’d never find him, so it’s a lot to get her head around.
Tiffany Butcher-Baker thinks Rocky is a great laugh and she sings his praises to Sonia. She’s taken aback by Sonia’s negative attitude to seeing him.
Dotty Cotton overhears Sonia and Tiff talking and she interrupts. She tells Sonia that she’d give anything to see her late dad Nick Cotton again. Will Sonia give Rocky a chance?
Zack apologises?
Sharon is steaming that brother Zack Hudson has been causing trouble between Ruby Fowler and her husband Martin Fowler. It’s clear from Martin’s recent outburst that he will not put up with trouble from Zack.
Insisting that Zack needs to get along with the locals, she tells him to apologise to Martin.
Zack is incredulous about the suggestion but Sharon puts her foot down. Will he give in and say sorry?
EastEnders continues on BBC1 on Monday 8 pm.
