Elly's furious after reading the letter Paige left on the Wishing Tree; however, Elly's even more furious as she believes that Steph is the culprit who wrote the note. Elly turns to Paige, and instantly Paige starts to feels guilty. However, she knows that, by telling the truth, she'll be in the firing line. Instead, she chooses to keep quiet and advises Elly to concentrate on what she and Mark have. Elly takes her advice but it backfires. Angered by her disagreement with Mark, Elly confronts Steph. Will Steph tell the truth?
Meanwhile, Gary's feeling insecure about his relationship with Terese, but things start looking up when he gets a call for a job interview from the manager of Lanzini's. Unfortunately, the interview is cut short and Gary thinks he's lost his chance. However, Gary's hope returns when he's called back for a second interview. Gary's finally offered the job, illegally fishing for oysters - could someone be setting him up?
Also, Toadie and Sonya are still digesting the news that Nell's not ready to start school. Toadie thinks Nell will benefit from seeing a psychologist but Sonya doesn't agree and says they need to fix Nell's problems by repairing their family unit. Does this mean Sonya wants Toadie to move back in? Later, Nell has an out-of-turn tantrum which forces Toadie to take drastic action…
