Chas Dingle tells her brother Cain that she can't marry Paddy Kirk
Chas Dingle is properly going through it at the moment. She's found out that the baby she's carrying has a genetic condition which means it can't survive outside of the womb. She and her fiance, Paddy Kirk, are devastated but are having very different reactions to the tragic news.
When Chas (Lucy Pargeter) learns that Paddy (Dominic Brunt) has been talking to people about organ donation, she's floored. It's too much for her to process and she's appalled at Paddy. Her brother Cain (Jeff Hordley) is there for Chas when she makes a major decision: she's calling off the wedding.
It's difficult times all round for the Dingles as Debbie (Charlie Webb) is going through it too. With Sarah in hospital following her collapse at her school dance, the mum reels as the doctor tells her Sarah will have to stay in until a donor heart is found and transplanted.
