Emmerdale spoilers! Debbie Dingle has to break daughter Sarah's brand new heart
Debbie Dingle is forced to tell her hospitalised daughter Sarah her court date has been set for her part in the acid attack
What with all that's going on – and has gone on – in her world, Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) is living in hell at the moment.
Her daughter Sarah is recovering from heart donor surgery, her fiance Joe jilted her then vanished, she's broke and she's soon to be in court where she may end up with a prison sentence.
But a bubble of much-needed joy pops up for the desolate Dingle when the doctors tell her that Sarah's new heart is responding well! Let's face it, it's the best news the mum could hear.
At Sarah's bedside, Debbie revels in the happy moment. But the mum has bad news she needs to share with her teenager, too. A court date has been for her part in Ross Barton's acid attack. A trial which could well see Debbie put inside for a very long time. How would Sarah cope with that happening?
Elsewhere Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) tries to make things right with Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) who's upset about Robert's attitude to starting a family. Will broody Aaron get to hear all the right words from Robert? Or is their relationship on the rocks already so shortly after getting hitched?
Second episode of Emmerdale on this evening.
