Emmerdale spoilers: Frank Clayton discovers what con man Clive is up to
At the art exhibition opening, Frank is gobsmacked when he finds out Leyla's con man boyfriend Clive has an art scam planned...
Frank Clayton certainly knows how the mind of a con man works, since he used to be one himself!
He has already warned Leyla Harding that her new fella Clive is not all he appears, since he knows of crafty Clive's reputation when they used to mix in the same dodgy circles in the past.
Not convinced Leyla can fully trust Clive, Frank is keeping a close eye on Clive's dealings in the village.
When the friends accompany Leyla and Clive to an art exhibition opening, Frank remains suspicious of Clive's keen interest in the event and wonders what the con man could be planning.
After their village friend Eric Pollard spots an art buyer he knows called Eleanor, Frank is shocked when Clive secretly reveals to him Eleanor is his mark and he is going to sell her a fake painting!
Will Frank scupper Clive's plans or, despite now being on the straight and narrow, will he be tempted to get involved with Clive's dishonest dealings?
Emmerdale continues weeknights at 7:00pm on ITV
