Emmerdale spoilers: Jacob Gallagher and his teacher Maya share a kiss!
When Jacob Gallagher admits to his teacher Maya that he's got a huge crush on her, the pair share a kiss!
Teacher Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) and pupil Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) end up kissing following a heart to heart in which Jacob admits his true feelings for her.
Earlier on Liv Flaherty (Isobel Steele) is mortified when David (Matthew Wolfenden) asks if she and Jacob are girlfriend and boyfriend.
An annoyed Liv insists to both David and her brother Aaron (Danny Miller), that they are just friends and that Jacob has lied about them being more than that.
David and Aaron decide to confront Jacob and he angrily admits that it’s true, he made it up.
Jacob storms off but history teacher Maya, who is in a relationship with Jacob's dad David, has witnessed the whole thing. She later finds the teen on his own and gently asks him if he made up his relationship with Liv to try and make her jealous.
Jacob struggles to make eye contact and Maya instantly realises she’s hit the nail on the head. When Jacob reluctantly confesses it’s true, Maya tells him she’s flattered that he’s got feelings for her and caught up in the moment, the pair begin kissing!
Maya pulls away and instantly regrets what she’s done and tells Jacob no-one must ever know they kissed but will Jacob be able to keep quiet?
Elsewhere Doug Potts (Duncan Preston) is gutted when Brenda (Lesley Dunlop) doesn’t turn up for their date at the gardening event because she’s looking after twins Cathy and Heath who are not well.
Plus Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) is racked with guilt when Moira (Natalie J.Robb) tells him he can’t keep avoiding Debbie (Charley Webb). The anguished dad debates whether to confess all and tell Debbie the truth about Joe. Can Moira convince him that would be a terrible idea?
Emmerdale continues weeknights at 7:00pm on ITV
