Emmerdale spoilers: Kerry Wyatt collapses...and ruin's Daz's escape!

Emmerdale, Kerry Wyatt, Daz Spencer

Just as Daz is ready to escape to the airport and flee the country, there's a crisis for the Spencer family when Kerry suddenly collapses...

Daz Spencer has been a desperate man since he made the mistake of drink-driving and accidentally hit someone with his car.

After fleeing the scene of the crime, Daz has secretly been plotting to flee from the village...and the country!

With his bags barely packed, Daz boards a minibus headed for the airport. But his great escape takes a U-turn when his ex, Kerry Wyatt comes over all faint-headed and collapses by the roadside...

Spotting Kerry lying motionless by the road, Daz orders the minibus to stop and he joins his worried brother Dan and teenage daughter Amelia in taking Kerry to the hospital. But what's wrong with Kerry?

Leaving Kerry in Dan's care, Daz decides he's still going ahead with his escape plans. However, his odd behaviour doesn't go unnoticed by Amelia who demands to know what he is up to! Will Daz have to come clean about his involvement in the hit and run?

Elsewhere, with Ross Barton now gone from the village, his brother Pete and partner Rhona Goskirk are in for a surprise when they discover Ross's former prostitute friend Dawn back and sleeping rough in the Community Garden shed.

What kind of trouble has Dawn got herself into this time?

Emmerdale continues weeknights at 7:00pm on ITV

Simon Timblick
Writer

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
