Marlon Dingle finds out girlfriend Jessie Grant's big secret
There's something up between teacher Jessie Grant and her son Ellis (Asan N'Jie) and Marlon Dingle has picked up on the tension.
When the chef interrupts the pair clearly having a spat about something, he asks to know what is going on. Marlon (Mark Charnock, who features in new ITV documentary Emmerdale 1918) is astonished when Jessie (Sandra Marvin) reveals a secret she's been harbouring from her boyfriend… How will Marlon handle the shock truth?
In prison, Lachlan White (Thomas Atkinson) is stunned when police reveal Rebecca was nowhere to be seen at the address he gave Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley). As the serial killer insists he didn't murder his aunt, it's clear the officers don't believe a word he's saying.
Elsewhere, Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) is pleased when conflicted Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) says he'll talk to Debbie Dingle about the possibility of a prenuptial agreement.
