Ethan confesses he's a killer?
Will a sinister note convince Ethan to confess his killer crimes to the police?
Doctor Ethan Hardy is on edge this week with good reason. When he gets to work someone has left a sinister note in his locker reading ‘I know what you did.’ As Ethan’s illegal activities are accumulating at an alarming rate, the young medic isn’t exactly sure what the note is in relation to – but it rattles his cage!
Desperate for support Ethan (George Rainsford) takes the anonymous message to clinical lead Connie Beauchamp (Amanda Mealing). She deduces it refers to the fact Ethan let his brother’s killer, Scott Ellisson, die without attempting to save his life. After all, if it was about the illegal operation Ethan carried out on Connie, surely she’d be threatened too?
With the pressure of living with his secret weighing heavily, Ethan decides the time has come to confess. And it just so happens the police are all over the ED this week when they bring in a suspected armed robber for treatment. Can Connie talk Ethan out of revealing his crimes?
Meanwhile, with her illness getting worse, and patients’ lives increasingly at risk, Connie desperately needs Ethan’s help in keeping her cancer secret… Can he persuade her to get treatment before it’s too late?
Also this week, Iain is lovesick for Lily. He’s got all the classic symptoms – constant checking of his phone, extreme grumpiness and wallowing over a pint. Sam recommends the traditional form of treatment - that he ‘gets under someone’ to get over Lily. Does she mean herself?
With Lily having left Holby newbie doctor Rash gets a new mentor. Will he make a better impression with Alicia than he did with practically everyone else in the ED last week?
Elsewhere, Robyn is obsessively organising her daughter Charlotte’s christening. Nurse David Hide realises Rash’s nerves are more extreme than most people’s and decides to help the young doctor in his usual unique fashion! And Charlie notices Connie’s not quite herself…
