Gloria sets her sights on Heston!
Sigourney Newton and her mother Gloria are busy preparing their new Beauty Salon for its grand opening but Gloria notices the dust is setting off Sigourney's asthma and so books her an appointment at The Mill, where Kevin is introduced to the Newton women. As Gloria sizes him up as son-in-law material, Sigourney is busy telling him how she knows best about her condition and flu vaccines are a waste of time.
In reception, Gloria spots a poster advertising the Jane Austen Exhibition. She then bumps into Heston and, as she feigns an attack of the vapours, he comes to her aid. Back at the salon, Gloria tells Sigourney she thought Kevin was lovely and that she felt a crackle between them. Sigourney admits he smelt nice but reckons he has a god complex. Gloria, however, isn't put off.
Later, Gloria spots Heston across the road, calls out to him and, with embarrassment, he crosses over. She offers him a head massage before the Austen Exhibition, if he's going? Later, Gloria fans herself with excitement - they could both be dating doctors by the end of the week!
Meanwhile, Zara finally gets Al to admit he's hooked on Jane Austen's novel Sense and Sensibility. But when he breaks his tablet computer before finishing it, he asks to borrow her copy and she flatly refuses. Elsewhere, Heston admits to Mrs Tembe that he's finding Pride and Prejudice a chore and would much rather be reading Dickens.
Also, Chris is looking forward to meeting a childhood friend, unprepared for the bombshell she's about to drop.
