Hari makes an indecent proposal
*Double episode* Louise is shaken when Carrie tells her that there's a rumour that she and Hari have been paid to lie in court and she begins to suspect Hari's truthfulness. Hari is horrified when he realises that Louise has got the jitters and he confides in Grayson. Hari is thoughtful when Gray tells him to do whatever it takes to keep Louise on side. So he confronts a shocked Louise and proposes! Jimmy spots Hari talking with Rosemary and tells Matthew he's going to tell Barraclough. Matthew is suspicious of Jimmy's nervousness and tells Carl that Jimmy seems to be clutching at straws. Matthew tells Carl that Jimmy is behaving more and more like a guilty man. Carl refuses to believe that Jimmy could have killed their dad, but Matthew’s comments leave him worried. Jack has had enough of the garage and he tells Daz that he's going to sell his share. Debbie is thoughtful when she hears the news and she calls Scott and asks whether he'd mind her buying Jack's half of the business. Eli agrees to help out Debbie when she realises that she’ll have trouble getting a loan. Eli suggests to Debbie that he pretends to be Scott in order to secure a loan and he even borrows one of Scott's suits to carry out the pretence. Eli almost signs his own name on the form, but the loan is finally agreed and a smug Debbie tells Jack that she wants to buy him out. Louise is disappointed when she's greeted with a less than enthusiastic reception to the news that she’s going to marry Hari. Terry is appalled, Carrie is taken aback, and Val thinks Aussie girl Louise is doing it to get a British passport! Meanwhile, Hari feels under pressure and Louise is puzzled by his mood. Matthew is becoming increasingly worried that Jimmy may in fact be guilty of Tom's murder. He has a run-in with Barraclough who reminds him that if he isn't the killer he could be going to prison for the real murderer. Matthew’s solicitor advises him to tell the police everything he knows and he’s left thoughtful. Also, Doug and Laurel keep a bedside vigil for Hilary; Bob meets a mysterious down-and-out called Errol (played by Tony Booth).
