At the hospital, Harold wakes to find Madge by his bedside. They start to reconnect, but as each visitor interrupts, Madge slips further away. Harold is convinced she's gone for good and is distraught, only to be relieved when she appears in his room again.
The First Aid Station is swamped with injured festival goers and Paul tries to blame Naomi for the accident, but she tells him to start resurrecting his failing public image, starting with a quote from Nina Tucker. Paul finally reveals Nina rejected the offer of performing at the festival, and Naomi is distraught.
Nick takes Georgia to the Ballet when Kyle has to work, and even buys an evening gown for her to wear. When Kyle rushes in at the last minute but realises he's no match for his beautiful wife and her very handsome 'date'.
Dimato ribs Matt about being a cop, and later tries to steal car keys at The Waterhole. Sheila catches Joey in the act and demands that Matt deal with him, not realising they know each other. But Matt’s caught between a rock and a hard place.
