Has Donna got a new love?
Hopelessly unlucky in love Donna Jackson has a change in fortunes this week when a handsome new stranger arrives at Holby City. Having earlier in the day made a plea to hospital boss Henrik Hanssen to stop using overpaid agency nurses, Donna is forced to rethink her stance when hunky new agency nurse Kieran reports for duty. Kieran (played by former Hollyoaks bad boy Barry Sloane) pops up assisting Donna with a difficult patient and it's clear there's a chemistry between the pair. The cheeky newcomer doesn't waste any time in asking Donna out on a date, but when Donna overhears him also chatting up another nurse, she turns him down for being a player. Later, after Keiran covers for Donna when Hanssen is on the warpath about an administrative error, Donna has no option but to relent and agree to repay Keiran by agreeing to the date. Is love in the air for the young nurse?
