Kyle is over the moon when Jade turns up unexpectedly - with gifts in hand, too. However, Rhys plants a seed that Jade might have cheated on him, hence the 'guilty' gift, and Kyle starts to think he's right when he reads a text on her phone. Later, Kyle confronts her but is knocked for six when she reveals what's really going on - she's agreed to stay in LA for another year! Andrew learns that Summer has seen his pills and he begs Tash to get Aidan to cover for him. Aidan tells Summer that the pills are for Tash's stress, resulting in Summer accusing Andrew of working Tash too hard. Realising the pressure he's put her under, Andrew gives Tash the day off, though she turns up at Charlie's again later to share her birthday cake with him. And hearing that Sophie has given up music, Chris tries to change her mind by asking her to teach him guitar. Realising his motives, Sophie refuses but when Chris signs up for a music competition, Sophie agrees to teach him, fearing he'll embarrass himself otherwise.
