John's astounded to meet Mandy, a woman who claims she's the love of his life. Paige is suspicious when Mandy can't prove she and John were a couple, but John's so desperate for a link to his past, that he suggests that Paige leave him and Mandy alone to talk. When Paige returns to see Mandy kissing John, she's heartbroken.
After talking to Terese, Sonya chats to Walter about her parents. However, when Walter mentions seeing her parents before they headed off to a masquerade ball, Sonya is thrown – her parents never did that sort of thing. Aaron suggests she finds a copy of the accident report from the night her parents died - maybe it will throw some light on whatever it is Walter's covering up…
Mark discovers Charlie hit Archie because he'd made a crack about Steph being crazy. Steph tells Charlie she's touched that he tried to defend her, but he needs to remember that violence is never the answer. Steph thanks Mark for his help and tells him she'd consider having more children…
