While an emotional Rocco heads to the prison to seek Johnny's help, Brad is consoling a distraught Sally. Later, Ric returns from his altercation with Rocco and Constable Fitzgerald turns up, asking Sally to relive her stabbing nightmare and give a statement. Brad's worried about Ric's burning anger and makes him promise not to go after Rocco but Ric refuses. Meanwhile, at the prison Johnny tells Rocco he knows of a place where he can lie low... Fitzgerald tells the Summer Bay House contingent that his colleagues just missed catching Rocco visiting Johnny at the prison. Ric is furious and despite Fitzgerald's efforts to calm him down, grabs his car keys and leaves for the prison to confront Johnny. He asks Johnny to tell him where Rocco is, and Johnny finally agrees to come clean. Ric drives off to a remote rundown house in search of Rocco. Elsewhere, Sally, Brad and Matilda are trying to track down Ric, fearing he'll do something stupid. They finally turn up at the house and are stunned to see Ric standing over Rocco's lifeless body.
