Can the young medic stop the bailiffs coming to her door?
Nicky McKendrick wakes up in the on-call room with the hangover from hell and her day soon goes from bad to worse when she receives a letter demanding payment of a huge debt.
Junior doctor Nicky (Belinda Owusu) is stunned to discover that she actually owes over £12,000 – she's ignored the warning letters and now she must pay up by the end of the day or the bailiffs will be knocking at her door.
Meanwhile, registrar Xavier Duvall (Marcus Griffiths) is annoyed with everyone gossiping about him on Keller ward, following the revelation he was once a "child star", who appeared in an advert for rice cakes.
Later, as Xavier tells Nicky how much the advert has made his life a misery, Nicky confides in Xavier about the amount of debt she's in. When he hears the bailiffs are on her back, Xavier offers a solution to her problems – but he wants her to help him in return. Will the desperate doc go for the idea?
Also, Lofty is horrified when his nan Sheilagh takes a turn for the worse, and Fletch and Abigail rub each other up the wrong way.
