Verity Hutchinson braces herself to tell fiancé Sami, her whopping lie!
Verity Hutchinson (Eva O’Hara) prepares to tell Sami Maalik (Rishi Nair) the shocking truth in tonight’s Hollyoaks on at 6.30pm (See our TV Guide for full listings).
Verity has been covering for Diane ever since Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) discovered a positive pregnancy test.
Verity pretended that it was HER who was expecting a baby to take the heat off Diane, however things quickly spiralled and soon, Verity’s fiancé Sami, was super-excited to think that he and Verity were going to be parents.
However, now that Tony knows the truth, it’s time for Verity to also come clean to Sami.
While Tony reacts to Diane’s baby bombshell, Verity must break the news to Sami that she’s NOT the one who’s expecting.
Will she find the right moment and how will Sami take the news?
Elsewhere, Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) finds Diane at Salon De Thé and is surprised to hear that Di's pregnant, but the news makes Mercedes yearn for her own little one.
Plus it’s Cher Winters’ (Behannie Hare) birthday but she’s annoyed when her step-dad, Sylver (David Tag) invites Mercedes out for dinner with them.
However it looks like Mercy might not be coming after all. Following her chat with Diane, Mercedes is wallowing in self-pity and gets drunk.
Cher is fuming when Sylver ditches the birthday meal plan to look after a sozzled Mercedes instead!
Plus, Darren Osborne (Ashely Taylor Dawson) finds it hard to distance himself from his ex, Nancy (Jessica Fox) but his dad Jack (Jimmy McKenna) warns him to stay away telling him he’s got a new family now and needs to be there for them.
Will Darren take his words to heart?
