Hollyoaks spoilers: Mercedes McQueen is NOT IMPRESSED with her gift from Sylver!
Mercedes McQueen is annoyed when she sees the special surprise gift that her husband Sylver has splashed out on for her birthday
Birthday girl Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) is looking forward to her special gift from her husband Sylver (David Tag) in tonight’s Hollyoaks at 6.30pm (See our TV Guide for full listings).
However her face falls when Sylver unveils a run down 80s caravan that he presents as her special surprise. Uh oh!
Unable to mask her disgust, an annoyed Mercedes tells Sylver it’s clear he doesn’t know her at all!
Trying to soften the blow and spare Sylver’s feelings, Nana McQueen (Diane Langton) urges Mercy to give the caravan a chance and tells her she’s lucky to have Sylver in her life.
Later on it’s Mercedes birthday bash at The Dog and a hurt Sylver is giving his wife the cold shoulder.
Elsewhere Walter Deveraux (Trevor A Toussaint) continues his recovery following his terrifying stroke that was caused by his sickle cell disease.
His daughter Martine (Kelle Bryan) wants to re-start the search for a bone marrow donor and her thoughts turn to her missing child, her son Mitchell’s twin brother.
Meanwhile junior doctor Mitchell still can’t forgive himself for not being there for his grand-dad Walter in his hour of need.
While Mitchell beats himself up, Scott Drinkwell (Ross Adams) who Mitchell was with at the time of Walter’s stroke, has had enough of the secret love triangle between himself, Mitchell and Cleo McQueen (Nadine Mulkerrin).
As his emotions bubble over, he starts destroying his Anita Tickle wig leaving Diane shocked when she walks in and sees what he’s doing.
Aware that he’s upset, Cleo convinces Scott to do one last performance as Anita Tickle for Mercedes’ birthday party. Scott agrees but decides, as it’s his final show, he’s not going to be taking any prisoners! Mitchell is later worried when Anita takes to stage and it’s clear she means business!
Over at the pig farm, serial killer Breda McQueen (Moya Brady) gives Tony a bag of belongings from his recently murdered son Harry, to remember him by. Tony is given a glimmer of hope when he spots Harry’s phone lurking inside. Can he try and use it to escape Breda’s clutches?
Plus Cindy Cunningham (Stephanie Waring) is on the warpath to make sure her grand bazaar project goes ahead. The planning permission was recently shelved thanks to some endangered birds nesting on site but Cindy has a plan to get rid of them! What is she going to do?
And finally, Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed) makes a SHOCKING discovery that rocks him to his core!
Hollyoaks is shown weekdays on C4 at 6.30pm with the next episode following on E4
