Tony and Diane are told that Dee Dee must undergo a possibly fatal treatment in order to get better.
The worried parents are beside themselves with stress and reluctantly decide that the treatment is just too risky. But with Dee Dee’s condition getting worse, will they have a change of heart?
Meanwhile, Ellie tries to cheer up her brother Alfie and suggests he and Yazz go out together and have some fun. Having previously kissed Alfie, Yazz ie excited but this time when she tries to kiss him again, he pulls away and tells her he doesn’t know how he feels.
Yazz is furious to be messed around by Alfie yet again and gives him a piece of her mind. Why has Alfie had such a sudden change of heart?
