The Astoni family reel from Ben's SHOCK arrest over suspicion he has been using his surf board company to smuggle drugs on Home and Away...
Ben Astoni (played by Rohan Nichol) swears he is innocent on Home and Away, following his SHOCK arrest at the Surf Club on suspicion of using his business Ben's Boards to smuggle illegal drugs!
As Ben is taken down to the police station for questioning, policeman pal Colby Thorne (Tim Franklin) vows to get to the bottom of the misunderstanding.
However, after checking the facts, even Colby starts to have his doubts when he hears about a drug smuggling racket involving surf boards with drugs hidden inside.
Ben tells the police how he outsourced his big surf board order to a guy at a warehouse in Yabbie Creek. But unfortunately for Ben, when the police investigate, the warehouse is found completely empty.
Ben's wife Maggie (Kestie Morassi), daughter Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) and Ben's co-worker Dean Thompson (Patrick O'Connor) are horrified as it starts to look like Ben could be facing prison time unless he can prove his innocence...
Elsewhere in Summer Bay, teenager Bella Nixon (Courtney Miller) becomes increasingly worried about friend and landlady Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger), who has been a nervous wreck since the pair dumped the unconscious body of Bella's stalker Tommy outside the hospital and fled.
Will Irene manage to keep it together when 'Man bashed, dumped at hospital' is reported in the local newspaper, with the police out to identify the mystery man and find out how he got there...
Meanwhile, Dean's showdown with his hated dad Rick Booth (Mark Lee) comes back to haunt him when an envelope is left for him at the Surf Club containing incriminating photos of Dean punching Rick, along with a warning note that Rick is ready to send them to the police!
What will Dean do about his dad's blackmail demands?
