Home and Away spoilers: Dean Thompson's mum Karen kicks off (again!)
Policeman Colby finds himself caught in the middle again when his buddy Dean goes on the rampage and confronts John outside the Surf Club...
After almost being mowed down by angry Karen Thompson in her car, Surf Club boss John Palmer wastes no time in reporting Karen to the police.
However, aware of his mum Karen's troubled past with drug and alcohol abuse, Dean tries to reason with John to give his mum a break, knowing a police record is just going to make things a whole lot worse.
But as the confrontation gets out of hand, and Dean gets aggressive with John, Colby Thorne and police partner Chelsea Campbell are quickly on the case!
However, Chelsea is unimpressed by the way Colby keeps cutting his buddy Dean some slack, especially as it is clear Karen needs a psychological evaluation because of her reckless behaviour.
Could Colby's loyalty to Dean jeopardise things between him and Chelsea now the formerly engaged coppers are back together again?
Home and Away continues weekdays at 1:15pm and 6:00pm on Channel 5
