Dean Thompson (played by Patrick O'Connor) has been more than happy having nothing to do with his long-lost dad Rick Booth (Mark Lee) on Home and Away.
Unfortunately, the blackmail demands of Dean's half-sister Mackenzie Booth (Emily Weir) have brought Rick to Summer Bay, where he now appears to want to make amends with Dean for the way he treated him in the past.
So when Dean receives an unexpected invitation to spend the day aboard Rick's luxury boat, he has mixed emotions. Can politician Rick be trusted?
Dean's girlfriend Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman) reckons there's only one way to find out... take a leap of faith!
So the pair head off to Rick's boat together. But what are they letting themselves in for?
Elsewhere in the Bay, Justin Morgan (James Stewart) tries to get to the bottom of his daughter Ava Gilbert's (Alice Roberts) bratty behaviour towards new girlfriend Leah Patterson (Ada Nicodemou).
Leah hates the idea of being the cause of problems between dad and daughter. But Justin's determined to fix things so he can spend time with BOTH the ladies in his life.
But what's the REAL reason behind Ava's temper tantrums?
Meanwhile, Ben Astoni (Rohan Nichol) feels like the pressure is off now he's agreed to outsource the massive surf board order to a factory in Yabbie Creek.
Realising he's been a right stressed-out misery over the past few weeks, Ben decides he needs to make things up to his wife Maggie (Kestie Morassi) and starts making secret plans to take her on a trip of a lifetime... to Italy!
Home and Away continues weekdays at 1:15pm and 6:00pm on Channel 5
