Home and Away spoilers: SHOCK verdict for Irene Roberts...
Guilty or not guilty? Irene Roberts FINALLY finds out her fate on Home and Away when the jury reach a verdict. But what will it be?
It's the moment of truth for Irene Roberts (played by Lynne McGranger) on Home and Away (1:15pm/6:00pm on Channel 5, see our TV Guide for full listings), as she prepares to head off to court and find out the verdict. Will she be locked-up for attacking online stalker, Tommy O'Reilly?
With friends Leah Patterson (Ada Nicodemou) and Bella Nixon (Courtney Miller) by her side for support, Irene must face the possibility she may not be returning to Summer Bay if found guilty...
As support group member Teresa (Simone McAullay), who has championed justice for Irene, watches proceedings in court, she and everyone else are left SHOCKED when the verdict is announced...
Meanwhile back in Summer Bay, Karen Thompson (Georgia Adamson) is nervous as she arrives for her first day of work at restaurant Salt with boss Mackenzie Booth (Emily Weir), who also happens to be her son Dean's (Patrick O'Connor) half-sister.
Alarm bells start ringing for Dean, since this is Karen's first job since she left hospital where she was being treated for mental health problems.
And Dean is right to worry, as it's not long before Karen clashes with stuffy John Palmer (Shane Withington) after she accidentally bumps into him while carrying a plate of food.
When John starts to make a fuss about the mess, Karen snaps and decides to help John cool off by pouring a glass of water over his head!
Horrified by his mum's behaviour, Dean can only wonder if this will be Karen's first and LAST shift working at Salt!
Elsewhere, teenager Raffy Morrison (Olivia Deeble) has some exciting news to share with her big brother Justin Morgan (James Stewart). She has been accepted onto the medical trial in Melbourne.
While Justin and also Raffy's foster parents Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons) and John Palmer are all thrilled at the news Raffy will be getting help for her epilepsy, they are also secretly crushed when Raffy reveals she must leave the Bay.... tomorrow!
Home and Away continues weekdays at 1:15pm and 6:00pm on Channel 5
