Home and Away spoilers: Stranger danger! Who is Bella Nixon talking to online?

Home and Away, Bella Nixon

Bella starts chatting with someone called @Tommy online. But as Bella begins to overshare, will @Tommy prove to be a friend... or foe?

Bella Nixon has really struggled to fit in at Summer Bay High School and make friends.

And now that she and her policeman brother, Colby Thorne, are going through some issues, teenager Bella has temporarily moved in with Irene Roberts at her Beach House.

Feeling anxious again, Bella starts chatting away with a fella called @Tommy online while she's supposed to be studying  and working on an essay for school. But as she lets her guard down, Bella starts to share some very personal information with this online stranger. Can @Tommy be trusted?

Elsewhere in the Bay, Marilyn Chambers downloads to friend Irene after her clash with hubby John Palmer, over his selfish behaviour.

And Marilyn's not the only one getting fed up with John to-ing and fro-ing between Summer Bay and the city to be with his injured soldier son, Jett.

Alf Stewart clashes with John again, because he's forgotten to pay Alf's grandson, Ryder Jackson, for his work shifts at the Surf Club. Annoyed by John's behaviour, Alf warns him to stop neglecting wife, Marilyn before he really pushes her away.

Will John get the message?

Home and Away continues weekdays at 1:15pm and 6:00pm on Channel 5

Writer

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!" Stewart) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Aussie soap.

Simon is also co-author of The Treasures Of Coronation Street (Carlton Books)

And the writer and director of (very!) low budget fright flick, Midsummer Night's EVIL and the sequel webisodes series, The Hatchet Woods HORROR.
