Home and Away, Bella Nixon

Ignoring all the warnings about stranger danger, Bella has sneaked out to meet online buddy Tommy on Home and Away. And he's closer than she knows...

Despite not being given permission to attend a photography exhibition in the city, rebellious teenager Bella Nixon (played by Courtney Miller) has sneaked out to meet her mystery online buddy Tommy (Adam Solis) on Home and Away.

Unaware the older man has been spying on her through her webcam the whole time, Bella appears to have fallen under his spell and is excited that he has offered to pick her up in his car and drive them to the city for the exhibition...

However, Bella is disappointed when Tommy is a no-show and quickly has to lie when she bumps into her schoolfriend Raffy Morrison (Olivia Deeble), who wants to know who Bella is waiting for.

But as the girls chat, little do they know they are both being watched by Tommy who is sat in his car just behind them...

Simon has long been a fan of soap operas, and especially loves OVER-THE-TOP plots involving evil twins, hair-pulling catfights and natural disasters. Anyone remember the Sunset Beach earthquake/tidal wave? Or when Krystle Carrington got locked in the attic and replaced by look-a-like Rita in Dynasty?!

Simon has written for a variety of TV and childrens’ magazines/websites including Inside Soap, Nickelodeon, What’s On TV, Radio Times, Metro, Girl Talk, Disney Girl, Toxic! and Digital Spy. He has reported LIVE from the red carpet at The British Soap Awards interviewing glammed-up stars from soapland, and hosted a Facebook LIVE session for Metro with Home and Away legend Ray Meagher (Alf "Stone the flamin' crows!"
