Irene's forced to fight temptation
Kirsty, Geoff and Annie visit Irene in jail. Irene puts on a brave face but nobody's fooled. Geoff finds comfort in Claudia but Jai can't help Annie. The inmates admire Irene for 'offing' her boyfriend and shooting a cop and a bottle of gin is planted under her pillow. Irene puts it out of sight, not just from the guards but from her own temptation. Hugo fancies Martha, is not long out of hospital and has a failing business, so having to deal with his cousin's killer is the last thing he needs. Angelo asks Hugo some questions about the shark attack, but Hugo just gives him attitude. Angelo, who has even been getting lip from Jai, pulls rank and threatens to impound Hugo's boat. When Angelo's tyres are slashed, he accuses Jai. Charlie thinks Angelo is out of control and she calls him on it. Angelo reckons he's just trying to do his job, but Charlie tells him to tone down his threats - especially to Hugo, who is Jack's cousin after all. Angelo thinks Charlie is way too cosy with Hugo and demands to know whose side she's on. Charlie assures him she's a professional. It's enough for Angelo... for now. *Showing on RTE One, Thursday June 11* Click here to watch whatsontv.co.uk's weekly soaps video preview, Soap Scoop
