Jas is caught in the middle of a marriage
Jas is caught in the middle of an argument between two newlyweds – could their relationship be over before it has begun? Karen's feelings are still raw after seeing Rob kissing Driver. She didn't go home last night so Rob goes to the Campus to try and talk to her. Stubborn, she doesn't give him the time of day, but he keeps on trying regardless, until their quarrel blows up in reception. Rob explains the situation to her and makes her understand that Driver doesn't mean anything to him. Karen believes him but cracks later when Rob suggests that they should adopt a baby. Angry, she screams at him for his uncharacteristic lack of sense... they could have had their own baby not long ago and he pressured her into an abortion. Things remain rocky. Chris and Kevin trick Emma into believing that their smartphones have inbuilt lie detectors in them and they demonstrate it to her using a joke app. She falls for it, but realises it is a trick. Later, she sneaks into Chris's pocket, steals his phone, and installs an app on it that makes farting noises – which of course goes off in front of patients. Chris is unable to take this joke and Kevin tries and fails to calm him down when he becomes angry at his mum.
