Nicola faces up to the reality of her pregnancy, but still refuses to tell Jimmy he's going to be a dad. Rodney tells Jimmy about Nicola's 'illness' and decides to tell Nicola it's time she moved on. Nicola can't believe Jimmy's arrogance and she attacks him with her handbag then dissolves into sobs. A furious Jimmy tells Rodney to control his daughter and Rodney confesses that she's pregnant, but begs Jimmy not to let on. Jimmy is stunned. Cain is surprised when Debbie isn't up for using Andy's violence against Jo as leverage in her case to win custody of Sarah. Cain confronts Debbie when she is later easygoing with Andy and she explains she's afraid that playing dirty could somehow damage her own case. Cain feels bad for Debbie and decides to report Andy's history of violence to CAFCASS himself. David is the laughing stock of the village after his drunken singing in The Woolpack. Lizzie offers to help David claw back some credibility by handing out leaflets on his behalf. Pollard finds out and offers Lizzie money to work for him instead. David is frustrated by his father and Lizzie feels guilty when he makes it clear he won't play dirty to win the campaign.
