Julia gets some unexpected visitors
Mac's cousin and his wife turn up at Julia's with their moody son and make themselves at home. They ask Julia if they can stay as they are homeless, while the wife confides in Julia that the marriage is a sham and she wants out. Heston sees Mac's cousin who has hernia pain, and it all gets too much for Julia who throws the family out. Rob's been suspended and Immie and Jack are back at college and University after the siege. Immie is heckled by fellow students about the siege, and is helped by an older girl student Elise, who takes her under her wing. Also, Cherry and Ruth decide to teach sleazy Charlie a lesson he won't forget and Jimmi goes back to work.

Patrick McLennan is a London-based journalist and documentary maker who has worked as a writer, sub-editor, digital editor and TV producer in the UK and New Zealand. He has produced TV news and entertainment features on personalities as diverse as Nick Cave, Tom Hardy, Clive James, Jodie Marsh and Kevin Bacon and he co-produced and directed The Ponds, which has screened in UK cinemas, BBC Four and is currently available on Netflix.
An entertainment writer with a diverse taste in TV and film, he lists Seinfeld, The Sopranos, The Chase, The Thick of It and Detectorists among his favourite shows, but steers well clear of most sci-fi.
